▸ Anoka County had the 4th highest number of opioid overdose deaths in Minnesota in 2024.
▸ 100% of 2024 opioid-related deaths in Anoka County involved fentanyl.
But hope and help make a difference
▸ For every opioid-related death in Minnesota, an estimated 13 people survive because help reached them in time.
▸ Naloxone can reverse an opioid overdose in as little as 2-5 minutes.
▸ Opioid overdose deaths in Anoka County decreased by 39% in 2024.
▸ Free naloxone kits are available at all Anoka County libraries and over 23 convenient access points across the County.
